SOLD!!  FLY HOME!  …. 40 Acre – Dietz Family Estate – Canby, OR

I was just fortunate to sell a 40 acre property to a great Pilot – that will keep flying in the family!    Charles Dietz owned many acres in Canby and created the Dietz Airpark with the neighboring property and deeded the airstrip to encourage and continue aviation.   While the family reserved a 40 acre farm property with a simple home, a 3 plane hangar, office & a large shop – they retained deeded right to access the Dietz Airpark for flying!     We just put a pilot in the property who will love this property forever!   He’s planning on taking a break from working on a sunny day – and flying out to adventure in the Oregon skies! And then…the beauty of this at the end of the day…he’ll be flying Home!
I love my job!    Congratulations Bill!!!  You were a great Aviation buyer!!

– – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – -Donuts and a ‘hole lot of talk about planes!!

Love aviation??   This is a fun place to visit!   Lenhardt’s Air Haven on Friday mornings for coffee & donuts!    Be sure to go around 8 AM – I think the website says 10 AM!   The coffee & donuts go fast and the pilots fly in and out early in the morning!!

My first time there to visit with other pilots for their Friday coffee & donuts… I admit, I felt a bit scared to walk in to a group that all know each other and have stories that only they know about planes and friends and flying incidents, and the inside scoop that I didn’t have!  But I have to say that they were a very welcoming group!   I got to talk with a few pilots that made me feel right at home!

I got to meet with a few of the Willamette Valley Fly Girls members!   Be sure to check out their story on the AirHaven website!   Fun group of Aviation loving women!!!

One of the members, Linda, showed me her newly restored Piper Cub!  Her Mom is one of my stories on this page…she was a leader in a time when women weren’t really encouraged to be Pilots!  A true Pioneer of Aviation and the love of flying for women!

Always fun to see planes and talk with pilots!  (And of course, I’ll be talking about AIRPORT properties!!

Give me a call.. I’ll meet you at the next Lenhardt’s coffee and donuts!
